TV presenter excited for her Trek for Mandela challenge

The Trek for Mandela begins in a matter of days. And among the celebrities joining the team to trek to the summit of Kilimanjaro is eNCA prime time news presenter, Cathy Mohalahlana

Mohlalana is part of a group that leaves later in the month.

But her training schedule has been hectic.

And she’s spoken about the intimidating final summit night, which is the steepest, coldest climb of 6-hours, to reach Uhuru Peak.

Mohlahlana says she’s psyching herself up for a special cause, that ensures disadvantaged schoolgirls have access to sanitary pads.

It is quite exciting and I must say, I have spent about four years thinking about this. That is how long it has taken to get my mind in the mental space.

Cathy Mohalahlana, eNCA prime time news presenter
