ANC and Zuma attempting to undermine Constitution, says Prince Mashele

Prince Mashele, on Wednesday said that Jeremy Gauntlett's concession in the Constitutional Court hearing against Zuma exposed attempts by the ANC and Zuma to undermine the Constitution.

702's John Robbie spoke to Mashele as he delved into an analysis of the recent developments in the Nkandla saga.

Listen to the interview below:

Quite clearly, the entry of Jeremy Gauntlett in this case has made President Zuma aware of the full implications of this Constitutional Court issue.

Prince Mashele, political analyst

It appears to me that all along, he has adopted an arrogant posture thinking that this case had no serious implications.

Prince Mashele, political analyst

In the end, something will bind... The core of our systems still works, but there are serious attempts by the ANC, and particulary Jacob Zuma to destory it.

Prince Mashele, political analyst

I know that there are men and women in the ANC who are of a sound mind, they must be utterly embarrassed.

Prince Mashele, political analyst

The problem is for as long as Jacob Zuma sits at the helm, I am certain that many more embarrassments are coming the party's way.
